Boonanza (NL)
In this communicative card game, players trade with their beans and grow them on their fields. Who can wheedle the best beans from the other players and earn the most money?
Each player receives 5 bean cards and must keep them in their hand in order. Furthermore, each player has two bean fields. On each of them, they may grow one type of bean. When it is your turn, you must grow the first card and you may grow the second card from your hand. Then you turn over two new bean cards, which you may keep or trade. You may also trade cards from your hand. This can be useful, because a bean field is worth more if there are more cards of a type on it. And if you have to grow a type that is not there, you have to sell another one. And that can sometimes come too early... However, you can choose once per game to buy an extra bean field for three thalers. The game ends when the pile of bean cards has been played through three times. Whoever has the most money after that wins.
