The five to ten year plan for Spelen en Spellen is to become a physical shop where people who love books and games get together and enjoy both. However, to get there the shop will need to survive. This is why Spelen en Spellen is starting as a webshop.
Even in this digital form, I want to foster an environment that encourages play and reading. To do so, I'll be posting monthly blogs that tie particular board games to books that share a theme. The games and books talked about in these blog posts will then be offered as "Bloggy Bundles" providing discounts to those who want to expand their hobby from one to the other. As time goes on, I am hoping to create programs that will encourage children to read by rewarding them with games and cards for their efforts. So please keep an eye on the horizon as I am able to offer more and more to those that support the shop.
